1. Introduction:
The Statue of Liberty, Barbie dolls, the American Gothic painting, the Buffalo nickel and Uncle Sam are the five famous models of American culture. The Statue of Liberty is a gift of French to the American people. Barbie dolls are the productions of the Mattel Toy Company. American Gothic is a painting drawn by an American artist. The Buffalo nickel honored the extinction of the buffalo herds and the American Indians. Uncle Sam is evolved from an earlier cartoon character and it becomes the symbol of America.

Part I (Paras1-4): It shows the creator, creating time and process of the Statue of Liberty..
Part II (Paras 5-10): It shows the origin, developing process of Barbie Dolls and the affection of people to Barbie Dolls.
Part III (Paras 11-14): It shows what American Gothic is, the creator and the creating process. Finally, it shows how people feel about American Gothic.
Part IV (Paras 15-18): It shows the creator of the Buffalo Nickle. And it shows the speciality of the Buffalo Nickle.
Part V (Paras 19-22): It shows the origin of Uncle Sam, and it shows the process of Uncle Sam coming to be known.
3. Language points:
