It gives me great honor and pleasure to declare open Shanghai
International Containerized Transport Conference,I would like to
extend,on behalf of the Shanghai Municipal Government and in
my own name,our warm welcome and gracious greetings to all the
delegates to and guests at the conference,
I would offer my congratulations on the successful convening
of the conference in Shanghai,which is located on the coast of the
East China Sea,and my sincere thanks to all the members of the
organizing committee for their hard work,which has made this
conference possible.
I hope that the delegates will find time during the conference to
have a look around in the city and leave their valuable advice on
the further development of Shanghai,I wish the conference a
complete success and everyone a pleasant stay here.
Your honor Mr,Mayor,ladies and gentlemen,
I feel pleased and honored to come here on my first
visit to this dynamic and beautiful city,On behalf of all
the members of my mission,I would like to take this
opportunity to express our profound thanks to our host
for their earnest invitation,grand reception and gracious

people of Shanghai warm greetings and good wishes from
the government and people of the city of New York.
In the recent years,Shanghai has been undergoing
tremendous changes,and it is rising miraculously in the
east as one the important centers in economy,trade,

attraction for our people in the business community.
